RedGold Exposed tape book by zar33n RedGold Exposed tape book by zar33n
A gift for my friend's sister. I forgot to write down the dimensions, but it wasn't that big.

Used dark red embroidery thread, waxed myself, and regular ribbon for the cover attachment. The paper was a soft, hand-made variety with gold metallic print. The signatures were just made of 24 lb copy paper. My holes didn't line up so that was annoying.

Thanks to mollybrooks at LJ for the tutorial =)

what's the chocholate for? i love the book itself, the detail and dedication put into it *despite that mistake you yourself said you made (hole's not lining up)* but i don't get the chocolate.

Oh! It was meant to give a sense of relative size. I forgot to take measurements, that's why. But I suppose that would only be helpful if the particular brand is widely known. I'm guessing you're not familiar with Ghirardelli then? My bad, for the confusion!

And thank you! :)

no no, i know the brand, i was just wondering why it was there. i figured, maybe the colors of the wraper, or the "fanciness" to it was used as a ref; something like that.

but i get it now it was used in terms of size. thanks for explaining.
